The Principals’ Advisory Council (PAC) is composed of principals from member districts, along with district-level leaders responsible for curriculum, teaching, and learning. The council meets regularly as a representative leadership group to support collaboration and shared decision-making across the region.
The PAC serves as an important advisory body to the Minnesota River Valley Education District by providing insight into district needs, leadership priorities, and emerging opportunities that help guide MRVED programs, services, and initiatives. Council members also act as a conduit for communication between their districts and MRVED, helping to share information, gather feedback, and strengthen implementation of regional efforts.
In addition, the PAC plays a key role in the planning and development of MRVED’s collaborative professional learning opportunities, including the Spring Common Day. Meetings also provide opportunities for principals and district leaders to learn together, discuss common challenges, support one another, and maintain a shared voice in advancing regional work on behalf of students and staff.
