Weather Related Procedures for the MRVED

If the weather is questionable, here is the procedure for finding out if the meeting at the MRVED is on or not. Q102 in Willmar, WCCO, and KARE 11 generally give school closings from schools throughout our whole area.
If Montevideo Schools are closed, we will postpone the meeting. If Montevideo is in session, we will hold the meeting. Since we have such a wide geographic area, it is possible that some schools may close and others may be in session. Since Montevideo is our location, it seems to make sense to follow their call.
If the weather is unsafe to travel in your area - stay home! We want you to be safe. If the meeting is on and you cannot make it, please let us know (320-269-9297) so we don't worry about you.
If there is a one or two-hour late start in Montevideo, let's try to get together. If you can make it, we will start with coffee and muffins at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m.
